There is a new student in this group, WELCOME Jose Carlos.

The new vowel sound for the week is /I/: remember words like: sit, in, pick, ship, bit, women (both vowel sounds), hill, building (both vowel sounds), village, manage.

Students: you should practice at home. Remember you can listen to many words clicking on the little loudspeaker in the Oxford online dictionary. Listn and repeat, listen and repeat.

After practicing that sound students read homework.

We were practicing relative clauses, so students had to complete sentences like It would be fun to go out with a person who.... (Example: who is fun of hiking ).

We learned some adjectives to describe personalities: easygoing, independent, modest, moody, opinionated, sociable, stingy, unreliable. We were defining those adjectives.

Students had to fill in the questions for an interview and then listen to the interview itself and find out the actual questions that were asked. In this occasion it was British accent.

Homework
Tell us of someone we could say that he/she is one of those adjectives and explain why, give an example of his or her behavior to prove it.
And since we don´t have a class this week, you can use your time to read the story of Lucy, the clown doctor and make a summary of it. Also, you might write 3 questions about the text.
